Lets face it, sometimes our daily lives can take it’s toll our skin and every now and then our skin needs a little pick me up.

If you don’t like spending big bucks on high end mask or beauty products, or if you just want a natural pick me up to unclog, hydrate, brighten and TIGHTEN ( we aren’t teenagers any more honey). Then here are some simple steps you can use with some items you probably already have in your kitchen.

Ready? Lets go!

What you will need:

  1. a ceramic bowl
  2. 1 egg
  3. 1\2 of raw oatmeal
  4. cinnamon
  5. 2 drops of lemon juice
  6. honey

Separate the yoke from the egg and place the eggs whites with the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and get to mixing! Once the substance has become a nice frothy substance it is nice and done and ready for your face.

Cleanse your face and apply the mask  with either clean fingers or a clean makeup brush and leave on for 30 min or until dry and rinse off with warm water. Moisturize as usual and enjoy your face that is now smooth as a baby’s bottom.

Oatmeal is great for all skin types due to its anti-inflammatory properties which also great for treating acne and eczema, and it also works as a natural exfoliant.

Eggs’ protein content plays an important role in skin health by providing a source of amino acids, vitamin A, vitamin D the list goes on.

Honey is naturally antibacterial, so it’s great for acne treatment and prevention. It is also full of antioxidants ( go ahead and reverse that aging honey! ..see what I did there) and is super hydrating which leads to a great complexion booster

Cinnamon plumps Skin and gets it juicy! It  is a spice that brings blood to the surface of the skin so get ready for plumply juicy looking skin! it also is great treating acne and eczema, Yes!

Lemons are rich in vitamin C and citric acid, so they can help brighten and lighten your skin  when used over time. Bye bye hyper pigmintation! Yes well all have it sometimes. Vitamin C is a great antioxidant for neutralizing free radicals and boosting collagen production.
